Intro

Hi Capsule Holders!

We are excited to start sharing more frequent updates about everything that’s happening behind the scenes in the Capsuleverse. We’ve been spending a lot of time in the last month crystallizing our vision and high level strategy.

Our vision

Capsule House to be Web3’s Studio Ghibli: a world class brand and destination for anime-inspired multi-media story telling

To accomplish this, we’re investing in three pillars

1. The highest quality artistic craft in Web3 innovation
2. Bringing our IP into traditional media
3. Incubating with our community

We’ll share more details about these different pillars and how they come together for our overall strategy over the next weeks!

TLDR:

1. Our main priority this week is to make sure we have a smooth launch for the Hatchenings and build out details of [Redacted], the next major evolution of the Capsuleverse.
2. Our long term vision is to bridge our IP with traditional media. We are exploring different partnership and MVP solutions, but recognize that traditional media operates on different time horizons than Web3. We’ll continue chipping away here but most of the team will be focused on actively executing on [Redacted].
3. We’re excited to also start bringing the community together more actively. We’re looking into some live event planning as well as other fun community events.

Workstreams

Web3 innovation:

We want to continue pushing the boundaries of high quality artistic innovation in the Web3 space and fully build out our Capsuleverse.

• Capsule House
  • Hatchenings: We are on track for next week’s human Hatchenings and are putting on finishing touches. In addition to this, we’ve been parallel tracking the Hatchening work for our next variant.
  • [REDACTED]: We are incredibly excited about this next stage of the Capsuleverse post Hatchenings. There’s a lot to figure out here, but suffice to say that [REDACTED] is only the beginning of what the Capsuleverse will be.
• Secret Garden: We launched Secret Garden to the public last week. We’ll share future detailed Secret Garden updates in the relevant communities, but for transparency, are listing here since we do consider this as part of the overall Web3 innovation pillar. While Secret Garden will evolve in its own way, we plan to ensure that Capsule Holders continue to benefit from any future drops there.

Bridging IP into traditional media:

Our capsules have incredibly rich IP and we intend to fully explore different options for moving this into traditional media

• Partnerships: We are exploring a number of different partnership opportunities to figure out how we can best integrate our IP into traditional media opportunities.
• Traditional media MVP: In parallel, the team is also working on a lighter weight MVP option to test the waters for what this could look like.
